This dish is made of a highly figured piece of walnut with some of the natural edge on the outsides. A grass green epoxy resin was used to fill any voids in the wood. The lid is also a pice of walnut with a small finial knob of olive wood.

The piece has been sanded and waxed to hilight the interesting grain.
