Multi Species Illusion Bowl

This bowl is constructed of many different species of wood glued together into a 12” x 12” board which is 1 3/4” thick. The board is then sliced into 5 layers. Circles are cut from the layers and stacked. After gluing the layers together, the bowl is mounted on the lathe and turned to its final shape.
This bowl had three solid layers which are made of apricot wood.
