Australian Mallee Burl Lidded Bowl

This bowl is constructed by placing a piece of Australian mallee burl in a plastic mold and then adding several colors of epoxy resin to fill the voids and create a solid form to turn on the lathe. The colors of epoxy resin used are forest green, olive green and gold. The lid is part resin, part wood as well. This would be a great keepsake bowl.
The bowl is finished with two different polishes to give it a nice luster.
